In 1993 the Board of Directors opened a second skill nursing facility "Jessica House," in Goleta California. This is a long-term care facility for clients with more severe disabilities.
Jessica House is licensed as an Intermediate Health Care Nursing Facility for the Developmentally Disabled by the State of California Department of Health Care Division.
The facility provides a homelike residence setting with around-the-clock nursing care as well as physical therapy, independent living skills, recreation, and learning opportunities for individualized training programs, so our residents can achieve their highest level of independence.
Jessica House is a 6-Bed Nursing Facility which offers a caring, safe and well-equipped home environment for six developmentally disabled residents. It is led by a Qualified Developmental Disabled Professional (QDDP), an LVN, a Registered Nurse Consultant, a House Manager, Certified Nurse Assistants, Direct Care Personnel and Shift-Supervisors.
