Milton House - Nonprofit Org Santa Barbara, CA
In 1981, the Hinchee Foundation first opened "Milton House," a long-term care facility in Santa Barbara, California.
Since the beginning, Milton House has been licensed as a Habilitative Intermediate Health Care Facility for the Developmentally Disabled by the State of California Department of Health Care Division.
The facility provides a homelike residence setting with around-the-clock nursing care as well as physical therapy, independent living skills, recreation and learning opportunities for individualized training programs, so our residents can achieve their highest level of independence.
Milton House is a 6-Bed Facility which offers a caring, safe and well equipped home environment for six developmentally disabled residents. It is led by a Qualified Developmental Disabled Professional (QDDP), a House Manager, a Registered Nurse Consultant, Certified Nurse Assistants, Direct Care Personnel and Shift-Supervisors.
